KARACHI, Jan 22: Four ships carrying base oil, coal and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Over a dozen ships were berthed during the last two days including Luni Castle, Love Song to unload and load general cargo, Bunga Terasek, Saudi Diriyah, Amasis, Oel Esteem, Mol Ability and Mol Silver Fern to unload and load containers.

They were followed by Grand Duke to unload cars, Badulu Valley to offload soyabean meal, Union Ranger to offload scrap and Lalazar to offload crude oil.

Sailing was also active as 13 vessels departed on Monday: They are Jade-C, Bow Flower, Grand Duke, Love Song, Battery Park, Calvin P. Titus, Opal, Gallant Wave, Johar, Oel Aishwarya, Bunga Terasek, Luni Castle and Saudi Diryah.

A total tonnage of 0.219m tons of cargo including 48,648 tons of export tonnage, which also included 1,530 tons of rice and 21,434 tons of clinker and 0.171 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Southern Atlas with base oil, APL Osaka, Y.M. Faha with containers and GLY Kofiloussa with 39,860 tons of coal.
