KARACHI: Cleanliness campaign

KARACHI, Jan 21: The cleanliness drive and illumination work has been expedited in the Shah Faisal Town with the advent of the holy month of Muharram.

According to a statement issued by the town administration, pace of work for the repair and cleaning of roads and streets, as well as installation and repair of streetlights across the town, particularly around Imambargahs, mosques and religious procession routes, has been accelerated.

Town Nazim Mohammad Imran visited Imambargah Hussaini Mission, Imambargah Kazmeen and Imambargah Nasran on Saturday and issued directives for cleanliness and lighting arrangements at these places.—PPI
