LAHORE, Jan 19: Robbers shot at a man and his minor son on resistance on Friday morning. Two motorcyclists intercepted a car rider, Muqaddas, 30, and his three-year old son Aqdas on Ferozepur Road at 12:30am and demanded cash and valuables. On resistance, one of the robbers opened fire on both of them and managed their escape.

The injured Muqaddas drove the car towards the Rescue-1122 headquarters near the FC College from where they were taken to Services Hospital.

However, the police denied the robbery incident and quoted Muqaddas as saying two unidentified persons fired at his car from behind and escaped.

The injured refused to lodge any case and did not file any application, the police claimed.
