Kashif ton puts Multan on top

LAHORE, Jan 18: An unbeaten century by Kashif Naveed helped Multan reach 273 for four against Hyderabad in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Kashif scored a 165-ball 114 with the aid of 12 boundaries after skipper Saeed Anwar (53, nine fours) and Usman Tariq (28) provided the home side with a fine opening stand of 79.

Multan then lost two quick wickets before Kashif steadied the innings in the unbroken stand of 157 with Bilal Khilji (58, seven fours).
