Karachi’s special squad named

KARACHI, Jan 18: A three-member selection committee, headed by former Test fast bowler Salim Jaffer, after holding two-day trials here at the National Stadium, announced Karachi’s squad of special cricketers.

Salim Karim was named skipper of the squad that will tour India and New Zealand next month.

Squad: Salim Karim (captain), M Ishaq, Ghulam Sakhi, Aamir Hamid, Mohammad Rafi, Nadeem Arain, Farhan Saeed, Anwar Aalam, Mohammad Azeem, Akram Afzal, Shahzad, Kamran Ali, Mohammad ahmed, M Yaseen; Fareeduddin (coach), Mohammad Nizam (manager) and Ameeruddin (secretary).—PPI
