Policeman killed
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 18: A policeman was killed and another was injured when gunmen fired on them in the Daraban area here on Thursday. ASI Bashir Shah and constable Mohammad Riaz were on duty at a roadblock set up on the Musazai road near Daraban following a bank robbery in Ramak on Wednesday. When they signalled a truck to stop for checking, the men travelling in it opened fire on them, killing the ASI Shah and injuring the constable, and escaped.
