Muharram security plan


ABBOTTABAD, Jan 18: Peace and harmony would be maintained during Muharram, said the Deputy Inspector-General of Police for Hazara, Zulfiqar Cheema, while presiding over a meeting of ulema and members of the peace committees from Mansehra, Haripur and Abbottabad here on Thursday.

The meeting was also attended by nazims and police officials of Haripur, Mansehra and Abbottabad districts. It was resolved that Muharram processions in Abbottabad, Havelian, Haripur and Mansehra would be using the same routes and thatno new procession would be allowed.—Correspondent
