KARACHI: Missing boy found dead after 24 days

KARACHI, Jan 18: The decomposed and headless body of a seven-year-old boy was recovered from a drain in Korangi on Thursday. Shahroz, who was a class-I student was missing since December 25, 2006. The body was shifted to the JPMC where doctors said it was at least two weeks old. His father, Mehshar Hussain, a biscuit factory worker, had lodged a report with Zaman Town police about his son’s disappearance. The body was discovered when sanitary workers were cleaning a drain near the family’s house in G-Area of Ghaus Pak Colony.
