PAF Chapter crowned champions
KARACHI, Jan 17: The PAF Chapter notched up 36-32 victory over Darakshan Campus in the all-City School final to win the Inter-school basketball championship at KPT Sports Complex on Wednesday.
‘Man of the Match’ Muzammiluddin again stole the limelight when he top scored with 10 for the winners. He was ably supported by Arsalan Shah and Hammad who contributed eight points apiece.
Despite producing super display of shooting to finish with 15 points, Raja Jahanzeb could not save his team from defeat. He also won the ‘Highest Three-pointer’ award. Hasan Anwar (5), Maaz Sultan, Sameel Haider and Faraz Butt four each, were the other scorers.
Earlier, the CAS School secured third position when they whipped Karachi Grammar School 27-14 in the playoff.
Besides the medals and certificates cash prizes were also awarded to the top three outfits.
