KARACHI, Jan 17: South Africa will tour Pakistan in Sept-Oct this year for a Test and One-day International (ODI) series against the home team, according to the programme published in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Guide and made available on Wednesday.

During their trip to Pakistan the South Africans will play two Test matches and five One-day Internationals.

Prior to the home series against South Africa, Pakistan will feature in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup that will be held in South Africa in Sept.

Pakistan will visit India in Nov-Dec 2007 to play three Test matches and five ODIs against the arch-rivals.

Zimbabwe will make a short trip to Pakistan in Jan 2008 for a series of five ODIs, however this programme remains tentative.

Then the Australian squad will reach Pakistan in Feb-March 2008, during which three Tests and five ODIs will be staged. In 2002-03, Australia played their last Test series against Pakistan in an off-shore three-match rubber (in Sri Lanka and the UAE) after the world champions had refused to tour Pakistan for security concerns.

Pakistan will stage the Asia Cup in April 2008 and then the ICC Champions Trophy in Sept-Oct the same year.

Following is the programme of Pakistan team from the 2007 World Cup till Sept-Oct 2008:
