KARACHI, Jan 16: Two vessels carrying containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. No ship was berthed on Tuesday on technical grounds but five ships, Oel Patriot, Mol Kauri, Shalamar, Torm Ingeborg and Westermoor departed on Tuesday.

Five others, including Akili, Starrling, Archon, Shintoku and N.C.C. Jubail are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total cargo of 0.109m tons comprising 48,029 tons of export cargo, including 6,281 tons of rice and 61,222 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Sprinter, and Y.M. Moon, with containers.
