National netball begins today

ATTOCK, Jan 15: The 7th National Men’s Netball Championship will be held from January 16-19 at the Army Stadium, Rawalpindi, President Pakistan Federation of Netball (PFN), Capt Malik Zafar Iqbal Awan said here on Sunday .

The championship is being organised by the Army Sports Directorate under the supervision of PFN in which 10 netball teams including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP, Islamabad, Railway, Police, Army, Wapda and Fata will be participating.

Elaborating on PFN’s achievements, Awan said that recently, the 2nd Pak-India Women Netball Series was held with three matches played at Islamabad, Lahore and Hyderabad respectively. The series was won by Pakistan 2-1.
