Hajis complain about poor arrangements

By Our Correspondent

SWABI, Jan 14: Pilgrims returning from Haj have complained about poor arrangements made by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Speaking to media people here on Sunday, Haji Hazrat Sher, Haji Jaffar Khan and Haji Roshan Khan alleged that the ministry had made inadequate arrangements for boarding and transporting pilgrims.

They accused officials of the ministry of misbehaving with elderly people. Haji Hazrat Sher, who was also the group leader of pilgrims from Swabi, said that the ministry officials were not even ready hold talks with them.

He said that delay in flights had prompted some Hajis to stage a demonstration at the Jeddah airport who raised slogans against PIA. He also criticised ASF personnel of misbehaving with Hajis.
