Army rejects Fazl’s claim

RAWALPINDI, Jan 14: A military spokesman on Sunday rejected as baseless and concocted the claim made by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rahman that 56,000 army officers were serving in civil institutions.

He challenged Mr Fazl to provide the list of those officers saying that the opposition leader did not have any idea about the figure which he had quoted.
