Canadian HC meets Aurakzai

PESHAWAR, Jan 13: Canadian High Commissioner in Pakistan David B. Collins called on NWFP Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai at the governor’s house on Saturday.He discussed with him matters relating to FATA particularly the law and order and development activities in the area.

The governor briefed the high commissioner about the steps being taken for curbing terrorism and finding a durable solution to the Afghan crisis.

Matters relating to Afghan jirga and the newly set up commission for the purpose also came under discussion.—APP
