KARACHI, Jan 13: Six ships carrying containers, crude oil and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Thor Merchant to unload and load general cargo, Pac Antlia, NCC Jubail and Kuo Cheang to unload and load containers and Al-Marwah to offload chemicals were berthed after the departure of six. The ships, which departed included Eric G. Gibson, Pac Amtlia, Lalazar, Pantelena, Thor Merchant and Matina, while Al-Marwah, Effy-N, Kuo Chang, Oel Esteem, Wan Hai-311, Orient Independence, Al-Diyar and Soon Fu are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 72,162 tons, comprising 19,202 tons of export tonnage, including 4,246 tons of rice and 52,960 tons of import cargo, which also included 5,492 tons of iron scrap.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Swat, with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Oel Patriot, Mol Kauri, Westermoor and Corin Thaikos, with containers and Archon, to load 3,000 tons of rice.
