KARACHI, Jan 12: Medium pacer Naved Latif bagged eight wickets to guide UBL ‘A’ Academy to the final of the second Inter Academies Under-19 Cricket Championship when they beat PIA Academy by seven wickets in the two-day semi-final at the UBL Sports Complex Ground here on Thursday.

Naved claimed 8-47 as the PIA Academy crashed to 83 all out in their second innings. Junaid Ilyas grabbed 6-45 as the PIA Academy collected 203 in their first innings.

UBL Academy A made 213 in their first outing. UBL ‘A’ reached the victory target for the loss of three wickets.

UBL Academy ‘A’ will take on Customs Academy in the final.
