HYDERABAD, Jan 11: University of Sindh Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui has urged the students to maintain discipline, saying it is basic requirement for getting education.

He was speaking to the students of the university on the occasion of commencement of new academic session on Thursday.

The event was organized by the bureau of STAGS at the main lawn of the faculty of arts building at Allama I. I. Kazi campus in Jamshoro.

New comers and senior students, deans of the faculties, heads of the institutes, departments and administrative sections, registrar and hostel provost were present.

The vice-chancellor, while welcoming the new students, said that time was very important and the students must value it by making best use of time.

He advised the students to make best use of the library and internet facility. He said that the university's central library was a treasure of books.
