KARACHI: Najam’s concert in Korangi today: Karachi festival

KARACHI, Jan 11: A Najam Shiraz concert will be held in Eidgah Ground No 3½ at 8pm this evening. Meanwhile, the people of Korangi held a walk on Thursday to mark ‘Hamara Karachi’ festival and vowed to play their due role in beautifying the metropolis.

The walk was organised under the auspices of the Korangi Town administration and led by Korangi Town Nazim Arif Khan. Residents of Korangi participated in the walk which began from Korangi 2 ½, and terminated at Coast Guards Chowrangi.

Referring to the recently held Korangi festival, he said it was an exemplary literary and cultural show. He announced that a feature film would be shown daily in Zeenat cinema from 11am-2pm for free. A food festival would be launched on Korangi’s dual carriageway.
