KARACHI, Jan 10: Three ships carrying containers and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Iron Butterfly, Cailan-4, to unload and load general cargo, APL Dailian, and Y.M.Fah to offload and load containers.

Seven vessels, Independence Spirit, Wan Hai-301, Kota Permai, Ulcas, Alfie, Change Le Men, and Rising Om departed on Wednesday, while Myong San, Iron Butterfly, Noni, Courageous, APL Dalian, Y.M. Faha, Taipan, Hyundai Stride and Cailan -4 are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total cargo volume of 0.100m tons comprising 40,000 tons of export tonnage including 20,677 tons of clinker and 60,000 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday; Amar Muhieddine to load 21,750 tons of rice, Mol Asante, and Orient Independence, with containers.
