Islamabad poised for victory

ISLAMABAD, Jan 8: Islamabad moved within sight of an innings victory after Abbottabad slipped to 209 for seven in their second innings on the penultimate day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match at Diamond Club Ground on Monday.

Abbottabad, who were forced to follow-on after conceding a massive lead of 397 runs, are still 188 runs in arrears with just three wickets in hand.

The visitors resumed their first innings on overnight 82-7 before folding up for 129.
