Rs24m projects approved

RAWALPINDI, Jan 6: District nazim Raja Javed Ikhlas on Saturday approved different development projects worth Rs24 million in the education and health sectors. The city government will spend Rs19.5 million on building boundary walls, classrooms, toilets and repairing laboratories of different schools in Pindi, Gujar Khan, Kalar Syedan, Kahuta, Kotli Sattian and Murree.

Dispensaries in Rawalpindi and Murree will be repaired and Kalar Syedan Rural Health Centre will be provided an X-Ray plant at a cost of Rs4.5 million.

CODE OF CONDUCT: The code of conduct for the use of loudspeakers in mosques prepared by the city district government will soon come into force and strict action will be taken against the violators to maintain law and order during Muharram.—A Reporter
