KARACHI: 35 deprived of cellphones

KARACHI, Jan 6: Thirty five people were deprived of their cellphones while five cars and three motorcycles were taken away in different parts of the city on Saturday. Police sources said 17 people complained that they were intercepted at gunpoint in different areas by bandits, who robbed them of their cellular phones, cash and belongings. Eighteen others reported their mobile phones had been stolen. Police said one car was taken away at gunpoint and four others were stolen while three motorbikes were stolen.
