KARACHI, Jan 5: The president of Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, on Friday condemned the attack on the residence of PPP Larkana district president and MPA Ayaz Soomro Advocate and termed it a cowardly act.

In a statement issued here, the PPP Sindh president said some outlaws fired gunshots at the residence of MPA Ayaz Soomro in Sheikh Zaid Colony, Larkana in the wee hours on Friday. The terrorists, according to him, were backed by the provincial administration.

The terrorists attacked MPA Ayaz Soomro's residence under the patronage of the provincial administration; he alleged but vowed such tactics could not demoralise the PPP leaders and activists.

The PPP leader demanded apprehension of outlaws, who carried out the attack, adding they should be exposed and taken to task.
