KARACHI: JI’s concern over lawlessness

KARACHI, Jan 5: Jamaat-i-Islami Karachi Amir Dr Merajul Huda has expressed concern over lawlessness in Karachi. In a statement issued here on Friday, he alleged that torching of office by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement activists in New Karachi was a conspiracy to sabotage peace and fan violence in the city.

JI leader said crime rate in the city had risen to an alarming level as mobile phones and ornaments from women were being snatched every day.

He alleged that police, instead of arresting outlaws, were supporting them and had become a B-Team of the MQM. —PPI
