KARACHI, Jan 4: Five persons were injured when a bus plunged into the marshes along Korangi Road here on Thursday. Police said that the bus was heading towards Korangi Crossing when one of its front tyres burst, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the bus landed in the marsh.
The passengers were rescued from the bus, however, none of them suffered serious injuries. They were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment, TPO Korangi said. The police used a crane to retrieve the vehicle from the marshes.
