Abducted schoolboy found murdered

GUJRANWALA, Dec 30: A primary school student who was kidnapped some five days ago from Talwandi Musa Khan village was found murdered in Tetley area on Saturday.

Reports said Imran, son of Allah Ditta, was kidnapped on Dec 25 by unidentified people when he was playing in the street in front of his house.

The heartless outlaws later killed the boy and threw his body in the fields in Tetley area.

Police shifted the body to DHQ hospital for autopsy.

The motive behind the murder could not be known so far. Police have registered the case and are investigating.

LOOTED: The robbers made five successful strikes in and around the city on Saturday and took away cash gold and other valuables.

Reports said six outlaws barged into the house of one Rana Aftab Ahmad of Gurunanicpura by scaling the boundary wall. They took the inmates hostages and locked them in a room. They took away Rs120,000, cash, 40 tola gold jewellery, three mobile phones and other valuables.

Later, they entered the house of one Asif Ali and held hostage the inmates. They tied the inmates with ropes and collected Rs100,000 cash, 25 tola gold ornaments, two mobile phones and other valuables and escaped.

In another incident, three robbers sneaked into the house of Muhammad Iqbal in Asghar colony. They took away Rs30,000, gold ornaments and some other valuables after locking the inmates in a room.

Meanwhile, two motorcyclists intercepted an industrialist, Muhammad Sohail, who was returning to his factory after withdrawing cash from a bank. They deprived him of Rs100,000 cash and took away his bike (GAR-2947).

Police have registered the case against the accused and are investigating.
