LANDI KOTAL: Road blocked

Published December 30, 2006

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Dec 29: Sultankhel residents blocked the Peshawar-Torkhum road for nearly an hour to protest the prolonged power load-shedding in their area. This is the second time that the main highway was blocked in three days. Local grid authorities are subjecting people of the Landi Kotal area to long hours of load-shedding from the start of winter season. The road was cleared after the intervention of the local administration.
