BANGKOK, Dec 28: A strike from Le Cong Vinh eight minutes from time helped Vietnam to a 3-2 victory over Singapore on Thursday to set up a clash with hosts Thailand in the final of the King's Cup football tournament. After missing two clear chances in a minute, Vinh popped up unmarked in the Singapore area to slot home from seven metres to secure maximum points and a place in Saturday’s final.—AP
