Over 600 treated at free camp


PESHAWAR, Dec 28: Doctors of the Frontier Corps, the NWFP, provided treatment to over 600 patients at free medical camps established in remote areas of Jarobi and Kachkol in Khyber Agency on Thursday.

According to a press release, people from adjoining villages, valleys and hutments visited the camp.

Medical specialists attended to 615 patients — 380 men, 78 women and 157 children.

Vaccinations against different diseases were also administered to a large number of people.

Earlier in the year, the Frontier Corps had set up similar camps in areas of Khyber, Mohmand, Bajaur, North and South Waziristan agencies as well as in Chitral and Dir districts. More than 3,500 patients were treated in the camps and medicines provided to the them.—APP
