KARACHI, Dec 27: Four ships carrying containers and to vehicles are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Norasia Tegasos and APL Osaka to unload and load containers, Stolt Virtue to load ethanol and Ievoli Splender to load molasses were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Iran Hesabi, Vinashin Sun and Grace-A, while Stolt Virtue, APL Osaka and Corin Thaikos are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.108m tons comprising 2,120 tons of export cargo including 2,468 tons of rice and 83,621 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Windsor Ruby to load vehicles, Orient Independence, Y.M. Sun and Eric G. Gibson with containers.
