HYDERABAD, Dec 26: Capacity building of officers and institutions was a precondition for ensuring better services and justice to people, said Sindh Civil Services and Local Government (SCSLG) Academy of Tandojam Director General Mohammad Ibrahim Qureshi on Tuesday.

Mr Qureshi said that the Rural Development and Local Government Academy of Tandojam had been upgraded and converted into Sindh Civil Services and Rural Development Academy.

Speaking at the concluding session of the third 15-day training programme for the tapedars and supervising tapedars at the academy he said that the academy would organise training courses for the officers of revenue, local government and other departments and expressed the hope that it would pave the way for social and administrative reforms in rural areas that would ultimately benefit people.
