KARACHI: Man shot dead

KARACHI, Dec 26: A man was killed by unknown persons in North Nazimabad near Abdullah Girls College on Tuesday. Police said the body of Aashiq Noor, 52, was found lying on the pavement in front of the Ashraf Community Hall.

Police said all the personal belongings of the victim were lying untouched. Police said that a passerby informed the Edhi ambulances suspecting that the man had been killed in a road accident.

Police said the man was hit in the throat by a bullet that also pierced the back of his head.

Police suspected personal enmity as a possible motive behind the killing. The deceased hailed from Kohat and was living in Qayyumabad.
