MITHI, Dec 24: The district and session Judge Tharparkar, who is also director of Human Rights, on the complaint a human rights activist, has ordered a pathologist to attend his laboratory in Mithi for three days a week, otherwise the laboratory will be sealed.
Chander Sharma, resident of Mithi and human rights activist, who appeared before the court on Saturday, alleged that a private laboratory was functioning in Mithi town since last couple of years without a pathologist.
He further alleged that un-qualified staff was working at the laboratory who are charging a handsome fee for various tests, preparing inaccurate test reports whereas the owner of laboratory, pathologist Dr.Jhaman Khatri, resident of Mithi is posted at taluka hospital Khipro, and does not attend the lab.
