SHIKARPUR, Dec 23: Three men were killed and one suffered serious injuries in an armed clash between two rival groups in the Ruse Marfani village in the jurisdiction of Humayoon police station on Saturday.

Reports reaching here said that Mohammad Moosa Marfani, Khan Mohammad Marfani and Sher Mohammad Marfani died on the spot while Abdul Rehman Marfani received serious injuries after their rival Qambrani and Chandio group opened fire on them.

Reports said that the group attacked Marfanis with automatic weapons after they were told that they were planning to attack Qambrani village. The motive behind the incident is said to be a running feud between Marfani and Qambrani groups. Police have so far not registered any FIR.
