Woman found murdered
GUJRAT, Dec 22: An elderly woman was murdered by unidentified men during a robbery bid in Hajipura of Lalamusa on Thursday night. Khawajdin informed the City Police Station that he found his wife, Walayat Begum, murdered when he woke up in the morning.
He said that he and his wife went to the bed in their bedroom, but he found her body in an adjacent room while his son-in-law was asleep in another room.
He said that cash, gold articles and other valuables were also stolen.
Police believed that robbers broke into the house after cutting the main door of the house.
Police registered a case under sections 302 and 460 of the Pakistan Penal Code with no arrest.
