KARACHI, Dec 21: Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman on Thursday announced that the Zilhaj moon had not been sighted in the country and Eidul Azha would be celebrated on January 1. The announcement followed a meeting of the committee held at the Habib Bank Plaza for the sighting of the moon with Mufti Muneeb in the chair. He said the Zilhaj moon had not been sighted anywhere in the country.—APP
