KARACHI: KU to remain closed today

KARACHI, Dec 19: The University of Karachi has decided not to entertain public and hold any semester examination on Wednesday (December 20) as the chancellor of the varsity, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, is scheduled to visit the campus.

According to a KU notification, the chancellor in addition to chairing the KU’s senate meeting will also review different on-ground and on-paper uplift projects during his stay on the campus.

The varsity said that no semester examination would be conducted and public dealing at the campus would also remain suspended on Wednesday due to senate’s meeting, agenda of which included consideration of varsity budget and statutes of some departments and institutes.
