KARACHI, Dec 19: Seven ships carrying containers and coal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Johar to unload crude oil, Vinashin Sun to load rice, Iran Matin to unload and load general cargo, Kota Mesra and Tower Bridge to unload and load containers and C. Emerald to offload coal were berthed.

Three vessels, Orient Independence, Kota Mesra and Sea Home Sund departed on Tuesday, while Produce, Iran Matin, CMA CGM Potomac, Iran Kordestan, Tower Bridge and Johar are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 78,130 tons comprising 18,206 tons of export cargo including 3,508 tons of rice and 59,924 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Highway, Qatari Ibn Al Fuja, CMA CGM Tulip, Oel Aishwarya, Harmony, Y.M. Fortune with containers and Irika with coal.
