KARACHI, Dec 18: Chairman and President of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) S. Ali Raza performed the soft opening of the bank’s first Islamic banking branch at the Cotton Exchange building on I.I. Chundrigar Road on Friday. He said that being the only government sector bank the public has great expectations from the NBP to provide Shariah compliant services, says a press release.
