Health-related unethical ads to be checked, says Durrani

LAHORE, Dec 15: Federal Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani has said that a policy is being formulated to curb unethical media advertisements that could lead to a host of hazards to the life and health of the general public.

He was addressing a three-day international conference entitled “Familycon-2006” organised by Pakistan Society of Family Physicians (PSFP), at Aiwan-i-Iqbal here, on Friday.

The minister assured doctors that the government was formulating a policy for electronic and print media that give top priority to curbing health-related unethical advertisements.
