Man, boy suffocate

CHAKWAL, Dec 15: Two persons including a 65-year-old man died of suffocation in village Narang Syedan in the area of Nila police station. Zawar Ghulam Abbas and 15-year-old Shafqat Abbas, a class 9th student, reportedly made a fireplace of coal angheethee in the room and died in their sleep at night.

TWO INJURED: Two persons were injured in two separate incidents here on Friday.

Mohammad Asif, resident of Moti Bazar, lodged a complaint with the police that he was severely beaten by four persons including Sajid Mehmood, Amir Afzal, Hammad and Bilal.

City police registered a case against the accused.

In the second incident, at village Langah of Dhumman police station, three brothers armed with bricks and sticks attached on Yasir Arafat and inflicted multiple injuries to him. The motive behind the attack was a minor dispute.
