KARACHI, Dec 14: Three ships to load and offload containers, seeds and edible oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another ship also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy maintained at 60pc as seven ships, Mumbai Express, CSAV Ningbo, Sturdy Falcon, Annie Sierra, Barbara, Legiony Polskie and Opal, were busy in loading/off-loading containers, rice, seeds, iron ore and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 36,626 tons comprising 21,069 tons of import and 15,557 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Maersk Peterhead, CSAV Ningbo and Legiony Polskie left the port while Mumbai Express was due to depart.
