Bandits clad in uniform kidnap goldsmith

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 13: Four bandits clad in police uniforms and armed with Kalashnikovs, kidnapped a goldsmith outside his house in Tharushah, late on Tuesday night.

Sikandar Ali Khokhar, a goldsmith and resident of ward No. 4, after closing his shop, was on his way to home when four armed men kidnapped him outside his house. He was thrashed when he resisted. According to an eyewitness account, the four were clad in police uniform. A heavy contingent of police, along with sniffer dogs, began search for recovery of the kidnapped goldsmith.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

When contacted, DPO Irfan Baloch told newsmen that that there were conflicting reports about the kidnapping, and the position will become clear soon.
