KARACHI, Dec 13: The Karachi University Examinations Department officials on Wednesday caught two impersonators red-handed who were appearing in the BCom Part-I examination in place of original candidates.

Asif Kamal s/o Qamar was caught while appearing in place of Syed Adnan Hussain seat no 624318 at the Sindhi Department exam centre. Similarly, Niaz Ali Khan was detected taking the exam in place of Orangzebseat no 603948 at the exam centre established at Sociology Department.

He said the impersonators parents and original candidates were summoned and Rs5,000 fine recovered from each besides written confessions of the irregularity.—PPI
