LAHORE, Dec 11: A 14-member Pakistan women’s cricket team left here for Jaipur, India on Monday to take part in the third Asia Cup, which is being held from Dec 12 to 22.
Urooj Mumtaz leads the team while Asmavia Iqbal is her deputy. Pakistan will face a strong team of India in the opening match on Wednesday, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on next day.
Before the departure, PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf met the members of the team and advised them to keep discipline and sportsmanship spirit.
In second round, Pakistan will play Sri Lanka on Dec 17 and India on Dec 19.
