SANGHAR, Dec 11: Members of the taluka council have urged the government to clarify the position regarding recovery of agricultural loans in the calamity-hit areas. Raza Mohammad Khaskheli and Ghulam Murtaza Shar said in the taluka council meeting on Monday that prime minister had announced waiver of agricultural loans in calamity-hit talukas including Sinjhoro, Sanghar, Khipro, Jam Nawaz Ali, but the bank officials were forcing the farmers to pay the loan in the absence of any notification in this regard.
