Robberies as usual

LAHORE, Dec 11: Robbers on Monday made several strikes in the city and deprived citizens of cash and valuables. Unidentified people barged into Humayaun’s house (25-A Phase-I) in Defence, and made off with cash, jewellery and other valuables worth tens of thousands of rupees.

In Kot Lakhpat area, two armed motorcyclists intercepted Tariq and snatched his bag containing calling cards worth Rs50,000.

In Iqbal Town’s Badar Block, two bikers intercepted Jameela and snatched her purse carrying Rs30,000 in cash and the registry of her house.

Two robbers intercepted a man in front of Ibrar Centre in Wahdat Colony, and snatched Rs3,700 from him, while three robbers snatched Rs7,000 in cash and a cell phone from a passerby near a flour grinding shop in Samanabad area. —Reporter
