FAISALABAD, Dec 11: The agriculture department has advised growers to complete late sowing of wheat positively by Dec 15.

A spokesman for the department said here on Monday that approved late variety of Inqilab-91 should be used at the rate of 70 kilogram per acre.

He further said that in case of seed from the previous crop, it should be properly treated with pesticides before sowing.

He further said that variety of Inqilab-91 is most suitable for the irrigated areas of central and southern Punjab.—APP
