KARACHI, Dec 11: The KPT has been awarded the running-up shield by Seatrade Middle East Maritime 2006 for showing excellent cargo handling performance during 2005-06.

Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri received the award from Seatrade Middle East Maritime Managing Director Chris Hayman. The event was organised at Dubai World Trade Centre under the banner of Dubai International Maritime Awards to honour and acknowledge the performance of ports and shipping industries, says a press release.
